Family Programme (Parents and Young Children)
A shared learning experience designed for parents or caregivers and children aged 3 and above.
This programme supports parents in building confidence on skates while introducing young children to movement, balance and participation in a safe and structured way.

Back on Skates – 50+
This programme is designed for adults aged 50+ who want to stay active in a low-pressure and supportive environment. With a focus on confidence, balance and wellbeing, sessions are structured to allow gentle progression while encouraging participation, social interaction and enjoyment of movement at a comfortable pace.
Community and Funded Programmes
Structured programmes designed for community groups, local initiatives and funded delivery.
These programmes can be adapted to support:

How Our Programmes Work
All Excel on Skates programmes follow the same structured approach:
- Delivered in planned programme blocks (typically 4–8 weeks)
- Designed with clear progression and outcomes
- Delivered to groups rather than individuals
- Structured to support mixed ability participants
- Focused on confidence, participation and engagement
Sessions build week by week, allowing participants to develop gradually and safely.
